About the Job




The incumbent will lead the design and development of advanced hardware solutions for embedded automotive systems—particularly in the field of mixed signal hardware design and Battery Management Systems (BMS). This is a hands-on role combining simulation, modeling, schematic design, and cross-functional collaboration with software and compliance teams.




Job Description:



  • Perform design calculations and develop embedded hardware components for automotive systems
  • Create and optimize schematics using tools such as OrCAD
  • Select and validate components, generate BOMs, and carry out worst-case stress and tolerance analyses
  • Conduct hardware testing, debugging, and validation to meet performance and reliability benchmarks
  • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure smooth hardware-software integration
  • Simulate circuits using LTspice or PSpice for functional verification
  • Participate in design reviews and support documentation, compliance, and certification efforts
  • Operate lab equipment confidently—such as DSOs, function generators, etc.
  • Stay current with trends in embedded hardware and automotive technologies


Required Skills & Tools:




  • Strong foundation in embedded hardware development and power converter modelling
  • Proficient in simulation and circuit design tools: OrCAD, LTspice, PSpice
  • Hands-on experience in schematic creation, PCB layout, and BOM management
  • Familiarity with digital communication protocols: SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN
  • Strong analytical mindset for debugging and root-cause analysis
  • Solid grasp of Battery Management System (BMS) architecture and functional design

Qualification/Experience: 



  • B.Tech in Electrical Engineering; M.Tech in Power Electronics preferred
