We are seeking a hands-on Data Scientist with strong AI/ML engineering capabilities to join Mahindra AI. You will be responsible for building intelligent systems that analyze vehicle data, predict resale value, assess condition, and optimize pricing strategies using advanced machine learning techniques.






Key Responsibilities





  • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for: 




  • Predictive pricing and valuation of used vehicles.




  • Vehicle condition and wear analysis/prediction using sensor and inspection data.




  • Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines using Python.




  • Work with large-scale automotive datasets, including structured, unstructured, and time-series data.




  • Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver production-grade solutions.




  • Conduct model performance monitoring, retraining, and optimization.




  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.

Required Skills





  • Strong programming skills in Python with hands-on experience in model development and deployment: 




  • scikit-learn, XGBoost/Catboost, TensorFlow, PyTorch




  • Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn




  • Experience with ML model deployment using tools like Docker, FastAPI, MLflow.





  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and MLOps practices.




  • Solid understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.




  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.




  • Exposure to CAD/automotive domain will be a plus.






Preferred Qualifications





  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.




  • Experience in automotive analyticsmobility, or retail pricing domains will be a plus.




  • Exposure to GenAINLP, or deep learning is a plus.
