We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of AVP - Senior RFP Writer




In this role, you will be:



  • Take measures to manage Client documents such as Request for Proposals, Request for Information’s and Due Diligence Questionnaires and ensure that they are content- and data-intensive and usually have tight deadlines that are not set by Request For Proposals.
  • This requires constant and careful work planning and management, managing the expectations of stakeholders, clear communication, and attention to detail. 
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders/subject matter experts to confirm high quality articulation to clients of HSBC Asset Management’s investment philosophy, capabilities, processes, investment vehicles and the firm’s competitive advantages.
  • Partners with Request for Proposals colleagues in other regions to enable cross-border Request for Proposals s, Request for Information’s and other client documents.
  • Provide guidance to Head of Request for Proposals, India, in building the global Request for Proposals function.
  • The role holder will be working in individual capacity as well managing a team.
  • Cross-border collaboration with Request for Proposals and other HSBC Asset Management colleagues.
  • Shares information (including best practices) openly and globally in a timely manner.
  • Development of specialist product responsibilities by asset class according to business need. Opportunity to work directly with Investment Specialists and Subject Matter Experts.

To be successful you will:



  • Detailed knowledge of Request for Proposals, Request for Information’s and Due Diligence Questionnaires and related client documents, including regulations, compliance requirements and delivery processes.
  • Good knowledge of performance systems, reporting systems, third-party performance databases and institutional reporting standards (i.e. GIPS).
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills. Further language skills, such as French, Italian, German, Chinese or Japanese would also be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience in asset management industry
  • Qualification - Post Graduation / or equivalent qualification; Chartered Financial Analyst  (CFA),  Financial Risk Management (FRM), Environmental, social and governance (ESG) Certification - (completed or pursuing).
  • Delivering high quality client documents in short timeframes with finite resources.
