Automation QA Engineer
  • Job Location:    ITPB Whitefield, Bengaluru / Commerzone IT Park, Yerwada-Pune


  • Required Experience: 03 - 05 Years.


We’re looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to strengthen our quality engineering efforts across UI and API testing. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with Selenium/Playwright, experienced with Postman or REST Assured, and driven to contribute to framework enhancements, suggest improvements, and champion quality within an Agile setup.


Responsibilities:


  • Design, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing using Selenium/Playwright.


  • Ability to develop and maintain automation test scripts for Selenium/Playwright in Java programming language.


  • Develop and execute automated regression, smoke, and functional test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines.


  • Proactively identify gaps, suggest process and framework improvements, and drive adoption of best practices.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, improve coverage, and ensure high-quality releases.


  • Manage test cases, execution results, and reporting in TestRail.


  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives.


  • Mentor junior QA engineers and help evolve automation standards across teams.


  • Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous learning within the QA organization.


Skills & Qualifications:


  • 3–5 years of experience in QA automation and Java Programming


  • Proven hands-on experience with Selenium/Playwright for UI automation.


  • Solid experience in API testing using Postman or REST Assured


  • Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).


  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and TestRail (or similar test management tools).


  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


  • Proactive and detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.


Education:  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
