Job description

We are looking for motivated Signalling Professional to join our Railway Signalling Design Team. The role involves supporting the design, engineering, Quantity estimation and coordination for railway signalling systems for metro or mainline railway projects. The candidate will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver signalling designs and interface coordination with other railway subsystems.


Key Responsibilities


  1. In depth knowledge of Signalling design standards, General rules, Signalling Engineering Manuals, Operation & Maintenance Plans to enable Passenger Operations.
  2. Apply railway signalling principles and safety concepts in signalling design and engineering activities.
  3. Design and review of signalling design drawings including Signal Interlocking Plans (SIP), Route Control Charts (RCC), Cable Termination Rack (CTR), Wiring Diagrams, and Cable Core Plans (CCP), Equipment Layout plan, Earthing & Bonding etc.
  4. Understand signalling system such as Interlocking, Kavach, CBTC signals, point machines, track circuits, and axle counters and their application in system design.
  5. Coordinate signalling interfaces with track, telecom, power supply, PSD, rolling stock, and OCC systems as applicable.
  6. Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and engineering workshops with internal teams and stakeholders. 
  7. Support technical discussions with clients, consultants, and suppliers, and assist in resolving design review comments
  8. Prepare technical documentation, engineering reports, and design submissions.
