Job Description


Primary functions and essential responsibilities
  • Responsible for building and managing fund projection models for public and non-private regulated funds such as Business Development Companies and Interval Funds
  • Run various scenario analyses and sensitivities in models to make recommendations to management
  • Oversee various automation projects related to debt facilities and forecast projection models
  • Prepare presentations and other data requests for lenders and rating agencies
  • Manage various ad-hoc projects
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure proper application of inputs into models and to deep-dive into assumptions
  • Assist with debt capital formation and balance sheet management
Qualifications

Education/Certification:


  • Bachelor's Degree/Master’s in Finance, Accounting or Business Degree preferred
  • CPA/CA and/or CFA license a plus

Experience Required:


  • Preferably 9+ years of relevant work experience
  • Finance and financial services background a plus
  • Strong Excel skills required; Excel skills focused on fund modeling a plus
  • Experience with Power BI, Anaplan and other financial planning applications a plus
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and competing demands
  • A solutions-oriented, self-starter and ability to see the big picture
  • An analytical mind and a passion/interest in bringing new ideas to increase efficiency of existing processes
  • Good judgment in terms of escalating issues vs. solving problems independently
  • Strong planning, organization, and analytical skills
  • Dependable, great attitude, highly motivated and a team player
