We are seeking an Associate Software Quality Engineer (V&V) to support verification and validation activities for enterprise‑level clinical software products. This role is well‑suited for early‑career professionals who are eager to build a strong foundation in software quality, testing, and regulated product development within a fast‑paced Agile environment.


This is a hybrid role requiring regular onsite collaboration with the Software Quality Engineering team in Bangalore.

What You’ll Be Doing


  • Participate in software testing activities including test review, test execution, and test witnessing within an Agile development lifecycle.


  • Review Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), Engineering Functional Specifications, test plans, and support test scoping activities during planning cycles.


  • Execute manual test cases and document test results accurately and in a timely manner.


  • Work closely with software engineers to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues identified during testing.


  • Collaborate with QA team members, developers, and system/database administrators to diagnose test failures across multiple test environments.


  • Follow established QA processes, procedures, and work instructions to perform assigned tasks.


  • Perform assigned work under supervision with limited discretion, escalating issues as appropriate.


  • Analyze requirements to identify gaps, edge cases, and potential risk areas.


  • Support timely completion of required training, documentation, and quality records.


  • Read, understand, and make small modifications to simple scripts (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar languages) when needed.


  • Demonstrate awareness of how scripting and basic automation can be used to support repetitive testing tasks, data validation, or simple test scenarios.


  • Adapt effectively to changing priorities and project needs.


What We Look For


  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.


  • 0–2 years of experience in enterprise software testing or quality assurance.


  • Basic understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).


  • Knowledge of manual testing concepts including test cases, test scenarios, and defect life cycle.


  • Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools.


  • Basic understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL select queries.


  • Familiarity with web‑based applications and system workflows.


  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.


  • Ability to work effectively in a team‑based, collaborative environment.


  • Willingness to learn and grow within a regulated software development setting.


  • Exposure to cloud environments, DevOps practices, or Amazon Cloud automation is a plus.


Location


  • Hybrid role – working from our Bangalore office 3–4 days per week.
