Job Overview:




The Associate Procurement Manager – PMO works closely with sponsors and key stakeholders achieve project goals and implement process improvements utilizing project manager tools.  This position typically reports to a Procurement Manager.

What You Will Do:



  • Work closely with sponsors and key stakeholders to ensure achievement of program goals
  • Use Ecolab program management best practices, and as needed develop new methods and tools
  • Incorporate change leadership in programs to ensure stakeholders make the personal changes needed for program success
  • Develop and manage an effective measurement and reporting system including progress and results tracking, P&L linkage, and other critical metrics
  • Work across organizational boundaries and influence others to achieve program goals
  • Participate with rest of Enterprise Excellence PMO team to advance a culture of continuous improvement

Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of professional operations management, continuous improvement or related experience
  • Proven leadership, project management, problem-solving and team development skills
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization, in both written and verbal (presentation) areas
  • Demonstrated success initiating change and process improvement
  • Demonstrated process improvement skills (Green/Black Belt trained, or commitment to complete Green Belt training while in role)

Preferred Qualifications



  • Prior experience in Supply Chain
  • Strong analytical aptitude and organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Overall business acumen and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Strong business case analytics and ability to build “the story”
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal with the ability to interact with the highest levels of management
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and possesses a high level of integrity
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Networking skills with the ability to build and maintain business relationships globally
  • Spreadsheet, database, financial systems and ad hoc reporting skills
  • Results oriented, proactive and self-motivated with both detail and process orientation
