Overview The Corporate OPEX Deputy Manager assists in managing functional costs, including Travel & Events, Discretionary spending, and other costs (Consultants, OBS, Contractor spend, Leasing & Rental). This role involves working closely with the Corporate C&B team and the function lead in ICC. The individual will support Month-End Close, Forecasting, Reporting, and Pre-MEC work. Additionally, they will collaborate with the ICC Manager to engage with senior stakeholders, helping to identify overspending, suggest savings opportunities, and present financial insights. Responsibilities Adhere to Month-End close, Forecast, Reporting, and Pre-MEC timelines Download and generate spend reports by function from SAP Ensure report numbers reconcile with source systems Assist budget owners in reviewing spend and support the function owner in ICC Contribute to standardization and optimization efforts with Opex Manager Identify opportunities to improve team processes Collaborate with US-based FP&A teams for accurate P&L reporting Develop understanding of global functions' financial goals to support business partnership Build and maintain relationships with budget owners, function heads, and ICC C&B team Support and align with ICC’s ways of working, culture, and values Qualifications Identify any differentiating expertise required for success in the role. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Master’s degree is a plus) Minimum 4 years of relevant finance experience Solid FP&A skills with experience in forecasting and planning cycles Proficient in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new software applications Experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) is a plus Comfortable working across cross-functional teams with some multicultural experience Strong team player Identify any differentiating behaviors, leadership skills or soft skills required for success in the role. Ability to work as a team player and support cross functional teams Strong attention to detail; highly organized, with exceptional planning and time management skills Results-oriented, able to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities Adaptable to multi-cultural environment Strong ability to influence and work through others to effectively navigate matrixed organization while ensuring that necessary stakeholders are informed Ability to handle high-volume multiple priorities under pressure and be self motivating
