Join the WM Solutions Product Development team and help shape pooled investment solutions for the International Private Bank across EMEA, Latin America, and Asia. Lead governance frameworks, due diligence processes, and fund structures while collaborating with Portfolio Managers, Legal, Risk, Tax, Compliance, and Middle Office partners. Be based in Mumbai at Nirlon Knowledge Park, where your expertise drives fund innovation, regulatory alignment, and operational excellence.


Job Summary
As an Associate within the WM Solutions Product Development team, you oversee governance frameworks and due diligence processes across fund structures for the International Private Bank. You collaborate with internal committees, oversight teams, and functional partners to ensure robust governance standards aligned with regulatory requirements. You contribute to fund launches, product pipeline management, and ongoing oversight of proprietary funds across global markets.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Own due diligence reviews for third-party management companies, ensuring ongoing compliance and performance standards are upheld.
  • Create governance reports presented to senior management, internal committees, and fund boards, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory alignment.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on product initiatives, while identifying gaps and developing innovative solutions to improve service delivery.
  • Produce quarterly KPI reports for management companies, ensuring performance is consistently tracked against agreed benchmarks. 
  • Implement technology and digital solutions to automate and streamline governance workflows, driving operational efficiency and process improvement.
  • Manage advisor queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses while maintaining effective support for control functions and portfolio managers.
  • Monitor and assess emerging industry trends and market developments.

Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills:


  • 4 years plus experience 
  • Demonstrated experience in the financial services industry, for candidates with a background in wealth or asset management.
  • Proven experience as a collaborative team member, with the ability to contribute to, support, and help develop a high-performing team.
  • Demonstrated ability to support and execute new processes, frameworks, and operating models.
  • Proven expertise in preparing high-quality reports for senior stakeholders and board-level audiences.
  • Project management proficiency demonstrating ability to identify gaps and develop innovative solutions across multiple stakeholder groups.  
  • Experience supporting audit and control reviews and working effectively with internal and external auditors. 
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Preferred  Qualifications, capabilities and skills:


  • Knowledge of programming language tools (Python) and business intelligent tools (Tableau, Alteryx).


  • Experience with implementing digitally enabled investment solutions.


  • CFA qualified / candidate preferred.
