Your new role


As an Associate I in Auditing, you will play a vital role in maintaining financial integrity through travel and expense auditing for assigned affiliates. Your work will ensure compliance, quality, and transparency while supporting colleagues across Novo Nordisk to navigate policies effectively.


Day-to-day your tasks will include:


  • Auditing travel and expense reports in the Concur system for assigned affiliates, ensuring 100% quality in all activities
  • Initiating and following up with employees on travel and expense policy infraction cases with professionalism and clarity
  • Preparing and delivering monthly infraction reports on time with 100% quality and actionable insights
  • Building strong working relationships with stakeholders and providing support to front office teams in assigned affiliates
  • Maintaining and updating issue lists, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
  • Serving as backup support when team members are absent, demonstrating flexibility especially during month-end periods
  • Contributing to the overall goals set by the Team Leader and Finance GBS Management

Your new department


You will be joining our Finance and Procurement Global Business Services (GBS) team in Bangalore. Established in 2007, Finance and Procurement GBS supports various finance functions for Novo Nordisk globally. As part of this role, you will be part of our Corporate Procurement team, which is responsible for the global indirect spend in Novo Nordisk of app. 90 billion DKK and for defining and driving the global procurement strategy. With 180 employees based in Denmark, 300 employees in India, and globally 500 people working in procurement, we are a strategic partner to the execution of the company’s strategy. 


Your skills & qualifications


We're looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy and integrity. You'll bring with you:


  • B.com, MBA, or M.com with a strong academic track record
  • 1+ years of experience in travel and expense auditing
  • Experience working with Travel and Expense systems, preferably Concur Expense
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Flexibility, especially around month-end periods, with the ability to remain calm in a hectic environment
  • Thoroughness, responsibility, and strong attention to detail
  • Team-working mindset with strong communication skills and fluency in English
  • Good IT skills, particularly MS Office applications
