We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Sales Executive to promote and sell our range of aquaculture products. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving demand generation, coordination with retail and distribution channels, minimizing product expiry, building rapport with key industry stakeholders, and achieving sales growth within their assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
1. Demand Generation: Generate demand for aquaculture products from aquaculture farmers, hatcheries, aquaculture technicians, and aquatic health professionals through targeted marketing and relationship building.
2. Sales Process: Execute sales using a consultative approach tailored to the aquaculture industry, focusing on aquafeed supplements, probiotics, water treatment solutions, and health management products.
3. Coordination: Coordinate with aquaculture retailers, distributors, and technical professionals to ensure efficient distribution and product availability.
4. Inventory Management: Minimize product expiries and wastage through regular secondary sales and effective inventory management.
5. Industry Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with aquaculture research institutions, fish farm associations, and aquaculture cooperatives to drive business volumes.
6. Territory Management: Manage sales activities pertaining to aquaculture products within the assigned territory and ensure compliance with business principles.
7. Sales Growth: Drive and maintain sales growth for aquaculture products within the respective territory, achieving annual targets and conducting regular customer follow-ups.
8. Competitive Positioning: Contribute to the growth and expansion of aquaculture products to establish our company as a leading provider in the territory.
Requirements:
- A degree in science background is preferred, with 2 or more years of relevant experience in the aquaculture or veterinary market.
- Sound technical knowledge of aquaculture production systems, health management solutions for aquatic species, and geographic understanding of the territory.
