POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Transformation Management team works across Apollo focusing on strategic advisory, project management, and process improvement. We partner cross-functionally to enable the firm to successfully execute key strategic initiatives, to problem solve for complex objectives, and to provide expertise and resourcing for program/project management and process assessment/improvement.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Own end-to-end delivery of large, multi-workstream transformation programs, with accountability for scope, outcomes, governance, timeline, delivery quality, and budget inputs.
  • Shape program strategy and execution approach by defining problem statements, target outcomes, success metrics, sequencing, workstream structure, governance, and escalation paths.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning process redesign, operating model change, technology implementation, data/analytics enablement, and change management.
  • Partner directly with functional heads, senior leaders, and executive stakeholders to align on priorities, make decisions, and resolve complex delivery trade-offs.
  • Drive executive governance, including steering committee materials, decision memos, benefit tracking and risk narratives.
  • Anticipate and manage cross-workstream dependencies, risks, and blockers; intervene early and decisively to maintain momentum and delivery confidence.
  • Build, review, and challenge business cases, prioritization models, financial analyses, and resource plans.
  • Manage external vendors and consulting partners where relevant and hold them accountable to agreed outcomes.
  • Continuously improve how the team delivers transformation, including governance practices, templates, playbooks, and practical use of AI/analytics to improve speed and quality.
  • Support steering committee and sponsor communications through concise written updates, meeting materials, and status narratives.
  • Contribute to team standards, templates, and best practices for project and program

Qualifications & Experience


  • ·11+ years of experience in management consulting, enterprise transformation, program management, PMO leadership, business operations, or similar roles in a complex environment.


    ·Proven track record of owning large-scale, cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams and senior stakeholders.


    ·Demonstrated experience shaping program approach, governance, success metrics, and delivery plans in ambiguous environments.


    ·Critical thinker with strong quantitative, qualitative, and analytical skills who expresses their thoughts and ideas clearly both in oral and written communications


    ·Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and translate complexity into clear decisions and narratives.


    ·Strong analytical, financial, and structured problem-solving capabilities.


    ·Experience leading teams directly and/or managing matrixed teams across functions.


    ·Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create executive-ready analysis and materials.


    ·Practical AI/analytics fluency and willingness to use modern tools to improve productivity, insight


    generation, and decision support.


    Strong judgment, prioritization, and trade-off management in high-stakes situations


Preferred Qualifications (Good to have)


  • ·Experience in financial services, asset management, private markets, or another highly regulated and


    complex environment.


    ·Experience leading software development, implementation, or business process transformation programs.


    ·Understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, and how to bridge business and technology teams.


    ·Familiarity with project delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.


    ·Experience in middle- and back-office transformation, operating model design, or process excellence.


    ·Experience managing third-party vendors and consulting partners.


    ·Exposure to analytics, dashboarding, automation, workflow tools, and digital productivity enablement


Skills / Tools


  • ·Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; able to translate complex work into crisp executive narratives,


    governance materials, and decision support.


    ·Strong working familiarity with AI productivity tools and analytics platforms, with hands-on willingness to use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Power BI, Python, SQL, or similar in day-to-day transformation work.


    ·Ability to set standards for responsible AI usage, quality control, confidentiality, and repeatable team


    practices.
