Associate Director - Network Security Solution Architect

Job Description Summary

Contributor to the overall standards and direction of network security architecture within the IT organization. Responsible for architecting network security solutions addressing business needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Location: Hyderabad #Hybrid

•       Collaborate with Business IT, Infrastructure & End User Services and other Architecture functions in developing and optimizing the Infrastructure Services inclusive of technology, cost and business strategy with primary focus on network security and connectivity services.

•       Establish architecture guidelines and define technical standards for network security services based on business needs.

•       Provide strategic and technical direction, design and expertise, work with external parties (OEM’s) to validate aspects of the design and approach while providing detailed input into the target design.

•       Contribute to the overall continuous improvement, cost reduction and optimization of performance of network security services and have proper guardrails around the network

•       Work closely with the project teams and deliver on timelines.

•       Initiate, Support and deliver Proof of Concept (PoC) and Proof of Value (PoV).

•       Adhere to Novartis Security Control framework and processes to increase quality and ensure IT compliance.

Essential Requirements:

•  Proven knowledge and experience (10+ years) in architecting and implementing network security solutions (AI, Firewalls, Proxies, SASE, Network Access control, AAA, Firewall Management Platforms, Extranet Connectivity, LAN Segmentation, ZTNA, Cloud Security, PAC services etc…)

•       Basic understanding on WAN/SDWAN, LAN/SDLAN and Wireless technologies.

•       Experience with architecting and implementing security framework for Public Cloud based services and solutions (preferably on AWS, Azure).

•       Experience working in a global company and designing / deploying solutions at scale

•       Solid understanding and experience in solution architecture and build process including automation

•       Fluent verbal & written English, capable to present to various audiences; good documentation skills

•       Experienced in collaboration in a matrix environment
