Position Overview:


We are currently seeking a Associate OR Deputy Chief Engineer – Process Design, reporting directly to HOD – Process Design to join our Process Engineering team based in Gandhinagar.


Key Responsibilities:


We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee and manage the responsibilities below. 


  • Lead and oversee process engineering activities for refinery, petrochemical, and chemical projects.
  • Finalize process schemes, develop and review P&IDs, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Prepare and review instrument datasheets, process flow diagrams, and other technical documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to process engineering teams and area leads.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, project management, and clients to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and quality requirements.
  • Support procurement and construction teams with technical clarifications and site support.
  • Conduct process hazard analyses and risk assessments to ensure process safety.
  • Stay updated with technological advancements and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:


Languages: English (Fluent)


Main skills: 


  • 18 to 22 years of experience in Process Design expertise in a variety of Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical/ Refinery Projects.
  • Prior experience working on refinery units such as Hydrocrackers, FCCU, DCU, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with petrochemical units like Ethylene crackers, Polypropylene (PP), etc.
  • Strong background in chemical industries and related process design.
  • Expertise in developing and reviewing P&IDs, instrument datasheets, and process schemes.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:


BE/ B.Tech - Chemical, with 18-22 years of relevant industry experience.
