The Firmwide Control Management mission is to solidify an effective control framework within and across the lines of business by identifying and remediating control issues with a sense of urgency, regardless of the source.  The Firmwide Control Management team will work collaboratively with other control disciplines and will oversee existing control functions as well as the development of new control functions and protocols.  This process will enable the firm to engage the appropriate teams in a timely manner and provide the ability to quickly remediate critical control issues across all the impacted areas of the firm.



Job Summary
As an Associate, Controls Room Product Owner within the Firmwide Control Management team, you will support the design and implementation of the Firmwide Operational Risk platforms and related ecosystem. You will work closely with Product leads to provide innovative and efficient solutions using Agile methodology, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development team to ensure a clear understanding of business needs.
 


Job responsibilities


  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring a clear understanding of business needs
  • Gather and elicit high-quality requirements, translating them into Epics/user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Influence business users and application development teams to ensure implementation is aligned with strategic goals
  • Drive discussions during user story refinement, sprint planning, backlog grooming
  • Maintain appropriate change control processes and traceability
  • Coordinate and work closely with the developers during systems development and testing including clarification of any queries
  • Support user acceptance testing in coordination with the business
  • Assist the training team to compile job aids and training documentation
  • Capture metadata for business and reporting concepts as part of the user story documentation

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills


  • Master’s degree in Business Management/ Finance or bachelor’s degree in Commerce/ Accounts or equivalent8+ years of work experience as a Product Owner/Business Analyst working with Agile methodology
  • Must have experience eliciting and writing business and functional requirements through user stories in Agile methodology
  • Must have experience working with client and systems migration
  • Must have change management, user acceptance testing, project management and data management experience
  • Must have experience in working on JIRA, SharePoint, MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of collaborative tools like Lucid would be desirable
  • Ability to translate Business objectives into AI/ML use cases with clear success metrics; understand core evaluation concepts for models and LLMs
  • Ability to create, iterate, and manage prompts to improve the clarity, relevance, and consistency of AI outputs
  • Must be able to provide creative problem resolution, with good analytical skills and attention to detail in written documentation
  • Must have good verbal/written and inter-personal skills
