Role Overview:



The Enablement Consultant assists division and functional stakeholders in aligning their data strategy to business outcomes by guiding the adoption of enterprise data standards and practices. They assist leadership in defining data strategy, prioritizing capabilities, establishing governance, maintaining data quality, monitoring compliance, supporting AI, and deploying tools and standards. This role reports to the Director – Division / Domain Enablement Lead within the Data Strategy and Enablement team of the Chief Data & Analytics Office.



This position is based in our Hyderabad location, and we follow a hybrid work policy.




What will you do in this role:
Primary job responsibilities include:



  • Divisional Data Maturity and Readiness
    • Provide insight to leadership of the ongoing maturation of the division’s data by measuring and monitoring over time the level of maturity for governance, data quality, data operations, metadata, AI, compliance and other attributes of the ecosystem
    • Partner with divisional and functional teams in setting maturity goals, identifying gaps, developing strategies, and standing up capabilities to establish and maintain data readiness
    • Support the development and deployment of practices that improve the consistency, reliability, and usability of divisional data assets
  • Driving Compliance, Governance, and Risk Management
    • Promote adherence to data governance, compliance, and risk management standards across the division’s domains
    • Guide stakeholders in identifying, escalating, and addressing data-related risks and control gaps
    • Support sustainable governance practices that reduce risk and improve accountability
  • Adoption, Enablement, and Training
    • Drive adoption of data products, governance practices, and CD&AO capabilities across divisional stakeholders
    • Develop and deliver enablement materials, communications, presentations, and training sessions
    • Support user understanding and utilization of approved data processes, standards, and tools
  • Stakeholder Networking and CD&AO Awareness
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with business, technology, and data stakeholders
    • Increase awareness and understanding of CD&AO capabilities, services, standards, and value proposition
    • Serve as a connector between divisional teams and CD&AO to encourage collaboration and alignment
  • Implementation Partnership, Delivery Enablement and Continuous Improvement
    • Partner with teams during implementation of data-related initiatives to support adoption of governance and lifecycle practices
    • Provide guidance to ensure delivery approaches align with enterprise standards and domain objectives
    • Help remove barriers, coordinate support, and escalate issues as needed to maintain delivery momentum
    • Promote consistent use of approved standards, methods, and best practices for data enablement and governance
    • Contribute to the development, refinement, and reuse of frameworks, tools, and playbooks
    • Share insights and lessons learned to support broader domain consistency and efficiency

Education Minimum Requirement:



  • BA/BS required
  • Business, IT or Analytics related field of study preferred.

Required Experience and Skills:



  • Demonstrated experience in data governance, data management, business transformation, or organizational enablement (11+ years).
  • Strong understanding of data quality, lifecycle management, compliance, and governance principles.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to translate strategic goals into practical actions and stakeholder-ready messaging.
  • Experience supporting training, change management, or adoption initiatives.

What should you have:



  • Experience working in commercial or research areas of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience supporting AI enabled processes and using AI tools in governance roles
  • Experience working with domain maturity models, data operating models, or enterprise governance frameworks
  • Familiarity with analytics enablement, data product management, or related implementation practices
  • Experience in a large, global, or highly regulated organization
  • Knowledge of measurement frameworks and continuous improvement methods.
