We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Global Banking



In this role, you will:



  • Support the design and build of a state-of-the-art code library and development environment.
  • Be responsible for the technical delivery of analytical capabilities across Credit and Capital Management.
  • Developing functional and non-functional requirements in close collaboration with other engineers, quants and business leads.
  • Write high-quality production Python code to support the broader development ecosystem by supporting in code reviews and promoting development best practices.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved.
  • Good understanding of credit risk concepts and interest rate risk.

To be successful, you will:



  • 3+ years working as a Quantitative Developer integrating models in quantitative finance, IT development, or a trading environment.
  • Strong Python skills (Pandas, Numpy), encompassing the full SDLC, including design, development, testing, release and maintenance.
  • Advanced academic background: a Masters degree or PHD in Maths, Physics, Computer Science or similar.
  • Knowledge of Windows and UNIX/LINUX, understanding of and experience with version control systems (GIT) and containerisation. 
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen, with experience in a Strats / Quant function.
  • Hands-on experience of building and maintaining APIs, REST/gRPC/GraphQL.
  • Experience with database technologies SQL / NoSQL
