As Assistant Manager – Stores you will be at the centre of a globally compliant supply chain, ensuring seamless inventory flow, strict regulatory adherence, and operational excellence within an Export Oriented Unit.
You’ll play a critical role in maintaining audit-ready systems, driving process discipline, and enabling smooth coordination between production, logistics, and global stakeholders.

Multiple Employee centric and well-being support programmes Key Responsibilities EOU Compliance & Governance (High Visibility Role) Take complete ownership of EOU compliance—inventory control, traceability, and documentation aligned with global standards.
Ensure audit-ready systems for customs, statutory, and internal compliance.
Manage outsourcing and job work processes in line with EOU/SEZ/DTA regulations.
Act as the key interface for compliance, customs processes, and regulatory audits.
Material Movement & Global Coordination Oversee end-to-end material movement across EOU, SEZ, and DTA channels.
Ensure smooth coordination with customs authorities and accurate documentation for import/export transactions.
Drive transparency in material tracking, consumption reporting, and job work accounting.
Inventory Excellence & Control Lead inventory accuracy, stock control, and reconciliation processes.
Drive cycle counts, physical audits, and variance analysis with corrective actions.
Implement best practices in FIFO/LIFO, ABC analysis, and inventory optimization.
Safety, Systems & Continuous Improvement Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and ISO standards (ISO 9001 & ISO 45001).
Implement best practices like 5S, JIT, and efficient material handling systems.
Play a key role in ERP/MRP implementation and digital transformation initiatives.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Impact Lead and develop the stores team with clear accountability and performance focus.
Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Drive structured processes, accountability, and continuous improvement culture.
What We’re Looking For 10+ years of experience in Stores/Inventory/Logistics within manufacturing (preferably EOU/export-oriented setup).
Strong expertise in customs compliance, EOU regulations, and statutory documentation.
Proven experience managing high-volume inventory in engineering/heavy manufacturing environments.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and process-driven organizations (MNC exposure required).
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal/written communication skills in English Effective people management skills including delegation, feedback, coaching & mentoring
