This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 800000 - Rs 1500000 (ie INR 8-15 LPA) Min Experience: 2 years Location: Gurugram JobType: full-time Own and manage the complete end-to-end D2C P&L for the brand’s Shopify channel.
This role focuses on both revenue generation and profitability, with direct responsibility for growth, contribution margins, and operational efficiency.
The position involves leading cross-functional collaboration across performance marketing, pricing strategies, and D2C operational activities.
Key Responsibilities 1.
P&L Ownership Take full responsibility for revenue, gross margin, contribution margin, and CAC:LTV targets.
Drive consistent month-over-month growth supported by accurate forecasting and variance analysis.
Identify margin leakages in marketing, logistics, and discounting processes and implement corrective measures.
2. Performance Marketing Leadership Oversee Meta & Google campaigns through internal teams and external agencies.
Set CAC goals, develop scaling strategies, and manage budget distribution.
Accelerate creative testing cadence and optimize conversion funnels.
Monitor key metrics daily, including ROAS, MER, and blended CAC.
3. Pricing & Offer Strategy Maintain ownership of pricing frameworks, including MRP, discounting, bundles, and promotional offers.
Focus on optimizing average order value (AOV), conversion rate (CVR), and contribution margins rather than solely top-line growth.
Conduct structured experiments related to pricing and promotional strategies.
4. Shopify & Funnel Optimization Oversee website performance metrics such as CVR, AOV, bounce rates, and checkout abandonment.
Collaborate with operations and technology teams on user experience improvements, site speed, landing page enhancements, and conversion rate optimization experiments.
Develop and refine conversion funnels from paid campaigns through landing pages to checkout.
5. Forecasting & Inventory Planning Align demand forecasting with marketing initiatives.
Coordinate with supply chain to maintain optimum inventory turnover.
Prevent stockouts and overstock situations while supporting growth objectives.
6. Team & Vendor Management Lead teams responsible for D2C operations, performance marketing, and customer retention.
Manage agency relationships to ensure quality deliverables and accountability.
Establish reporting systems and maintain weekly performance review cadences.
7. Retention & Lifecycle Increase repeat purchase rates via email, WhatsApp, and remarketing campaigns.
Own metrics related to retention revenue percentage and customer lifecycle.
Ideal Candidate Profile Proven experience independently managing P&L for a D2C brand on Shopify.
In-depth knowledge of performance marketing channels, specifically Meta and Google.
Strong numerical aptitude with metrics such as CAC, LTV, contribution margins, and cohort analysis.
Experience leading both agency partnerships and internal teams.
A hands-on operator who excels at both strategic planning and execution.
