Assembly Fitter

Senior Fitter - Assembly Responsible for assembling fabricated and purchased parts to exact engineering requirements and aligning with standard operating procedures to meet customer expectations of quality, cost and on-time delivery. -Understand the sequence of the build in line with requirements. - Read and interpret assembly drawings. - Fit and assemble components to meet production requirements. - Determine the correct equipment and methods to use. - Participation and involvement with Company Quality Procedure and Standards, ensuring timely identification, communication and recording of all quality issues. - Responsible for ensuring all work is undertaken in a safe manner and in line. - Always maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with company EHS standards. - First point of contact to resolve any technical issues. - Manage continuous improvement projects. - Schedule and distribute workload. - Supervise, train and manage a small assembly team. To succeed, you will need 1. ITI Fitter / Electrician. Minimum 10 years relevant experience in related field. Applicants who are already working as assembly Fitter will have added advantage. Skilled at using manual hand tooling and battery powered hand tooling.
