Social Media Team Apprentice
As a Social Media Apprentice within State Street Investment Management, you will support the global social media team in executing organic and paid social campaigns across platforms. This role will provide hands-on exposure to marketing processes, social tools, and campaign execution in a regulated financial services environment. You will be part of a global team, and your tasks will include:
Support execution of organic and paid social campaigns across platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, etc.)
Help manage content calendars and coordinate campaign timelines with internal stakeholders
Learn and support the use of social media tools (publishing, listening, analytics, compliance workflows)
Assist in tracking campaign performance and compiling basic reports on engagement and reach
Partner with design and content teams to create assets
Support quality checks to ensure posts meet brand, compliance, and platform guidelines
Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices, especially within financial services
Education and experience requirements
Graduate or above (Marketing, Communications, or related fields preferred)
0–12 months of experience or internship exposure in social media
Demonstrated interest in marketing, digital content, and social media platforms
Interest in financial markets / asset management industry preferred
This position requires:
Strong written and oral communication skills
Fluent spoken and written English (non-negotiable)
Ability to articulate clear, concise, and platform-appropriate social media copy
Basic understanding of how social platforms function (content formats, engagement, trends)
Keen interest in learning marketing processes and campaign execution
Strong attention to detail, especially in content reviews and quality checks
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with social tools is a plus
