Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Developer specializing in Microsoft Analytics, you will design and develop business intelligence, data warehousing, and reporting applications using Microsoft BI tools and products. You will utilize your strong foundation in SQL Server programming and experience with Power BI to deliver high-quality solutions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Design and Develop BI Solutions: Design and develop business intelligence, data warehousing, and reporting applications using Microsoft BI tools and products such as Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, Power BI Embedded services, and SSRS.

* Write Complex Queries: Write complex queries using Power Query, DAX, R, and TSQL to support business intelligence and reporting applications.

* Implement Security Features: Implement security features to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data, while also optimizing Microsoft Power BI dashboards for usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization.

* Build Reports and Visualizations: Build reports and visualizations with Power BI to provide insights and support business decision-making.

* Optimize Dashboard Performance: Optimize Microsoft Power BI dashboards to ensure they meet performance, flexibility, and standardization requirements.

Required technical and professional expertise

* Microsoft BI Tools Proficiency: Exposure to designing and developing business intelligence, data warehousing, and reporting applications using Microsoft BI tools and products such as Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, Power BI Embedded services, and SSRS.

* Complex Query Development: Exposure to writing complex queries using Power Query, DAX, R, and TSQL to support business intelligence and reporting applications.

* SQL Server Programming Foundation: Exposure to SQL Server programming, including building reports and visualizations with Power BI.

* Security Feature Implementation: Experience with implementing security features to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data in Microsoft Power BI dashboards.

* Dashboard Optimization: Experience with optimizing Microsoft Power BI dashboards for usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization.

Preferred technical and professional experience

* Advanced Power BI Skills: Experience with advanced Power BI features, including Power BI Embedded services and Power BI Report Builder, to design and develop complex business intelligence and reporting applications.

* Data Visualization Expertise: Exposure to building interactive and dynamic reports and visualizations with Power BI to provide insights and support business decision-making.

* Performance Optimization Techniques: Experience with optimizing Microsoft Power BI dashboards for usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization to ensure seamless user experience.
