The Application Designer will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and designing, developing, and optimizing SAP applications using ABAP on HANA. The role involves collaborating with functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions aligned with business processes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Design and develop SAP applications using ABAP on HANA architecture
  • Optimize existing programs for performance improvement using HANA capabilities
  • Develop reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects)
  • Work closely with functional consultants to ensure accurate solution design
  • Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in SAP systems
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Participate in system integration testing, UAT support, and deployment activities
  • Maintain proper technical documentation for developments and enhancements
  • Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing SAP applications

RequirementsStrong expertise in SAP ABAP Development on HANA
Experience in performance tuning and optimization using HANA techniques
Proficiency in ALV Reports, BAPIs, BADI, User Exits, Enhancements
Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA-specific development concepts
Experience with SmartForms / SAP Scripts / Adobe Forms
Understanding of data dictionary, modularization techniques, and debugging tools
Familiarity with SAP modules like MM, SD, FI (preferred)
