In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As an Application Architect specializing in open-source development platforms, you will design and implement software solutions using various open-source programming languages and tools. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the chosen open-source solutions align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Design Open-Source Solutions: Design and implement software solutions using various open-source programming languages and tools, requiring a deep understanding of the underlying technologies and the ability to integrate them effectively.
* Ensure Alignment with Organizational Goals: Ensure that the chosen open-source solutions align with the organization's goals and objectives, maximizing their potential and meeting the needs of all parties involved.
* Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the final solution meets the needs of all parties involved.
* Integrate Open-Source Technologies: Integrate open-source technologies effectively to create efficient and maintainable systems.
* Lead Solution Implementation: Lead the implementation of open-source solutions, ensuring that they are delivered efficiently and effectively.
* Open-Source Development Expertise: Experience with designing and implementing software solutions using various open-source programming languages and tools, with a deep understanding of the underlying technologies and the ability to integrate them effectively.
* Technology Integration Skills: Experience in integrating open-source technologies to create efficient and maintainable systems, with a focus on maximizing their potential and meeting organizational goals.
* Solution Architecture Knowledge: Experience with ensuring that chosen open-source solutions align with organizational goals and objectives, considering the needs of all parties involved.
