The Commercial & Investment Banking Global Services Data Strategy and Analytics team functions as an internal business & metrics reporting and analytics group responsible for delivering highly quantitative and qualitative reports and analytics tools that support bankers, salespeople, and senior management agendas


As an Analytics Solutions Associate in the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Global Finance and Business Management organization, you will assist with optimizing business performance by helping to promote key initiatives and by performing data and management reporting development for operations.


Job Responsibilities: 


  • Process Assessment & Optimization: Evaluate current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Design and implement new or revised processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, secure buy-in, and ensure successful process changes.
  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee data projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements and analytics initiatives.
  • Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, changes, and best practices to support ongoing improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Strategic Data Management: Align data initiatives with business goals, develop long-term data strategies, and ensure robust data governance, quality, privacy, and security.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, presenting key metrics, insights, and recommendations


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills


  • Hands-on experience with 


    • Must have: Programming languages: SQL (Expert),


    • Any Data visualization tool. For ex: Qlik Sense or Tableau (Expert)


    • Jira & MS Office


  • Ability to understand business problems/processes and design solutions/methodologies that are rooted in data


  • Effectively communicate insights/recommendations (verbal and written) with strong ownership skills


  • Ability to design and execute repeatable and scalable data solutions (extraction / mining / modeling / visualization)


  • Team player with a demonstrated strong work ethic.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skill


  • 4 to 7 years of experience, preferably (but not mandatory) in financial services or commercial banking


  •  Python (good to have)


  • Good to have: knowledge of Cloud & Distributed file systems, e.g., AWS Redshift, AWS Data bricks, R Programming


  • Graduate/Postgraduate preferably with Computer/Finance/Statistics as core areas


Shift Timing: EMEA (1pm to 10pm) & Location: Bengaluru
