Join our dynamic EMEA FIG Developed Markets Credit Risk team, where you'll collaborate with business partners across the region, including Global Corporate Banking, Sales and Trading, and more. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with both Investment Grade and Non-Investment Grade clients, structuring diverse credit relationships.  As an Analyst in the EMEA FIG Developed Markets Credit Risk team, you will collaborate closely with business partners across the region, including Global Corporate Banking, Sales and Trading, Debt Capital Markets, Treasury Services, and Trade Finance. You will conduct comprehensive credit analysis of both Investment Grade and Non-Investment Grade clients and work with various front office teams to structure a diverse range of credit relationships.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Assume coverage of a portfolio of clients within the banking and insurance space, including grading and reviewing credit risk exposures.
  • Track financial performance updates and events impacting the assigned portfolio.
  • Monitor risk and exposure metrics across counterparties and the portfolio, contributing to industry analyses.
  • Participate in due diligence processes for onboarding new clients and reviewing existing ones.
  • Produce concise and insightful credit memos, articulating recommendations for credit decisions.
  • Support analysis and approval processes for structured derivatives transactions and lending requests.
  • Develop knowledge of legal documentation for markets and banking products.
  • Participate in team and department-level projects to improve processes and drive efficiencies.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:


  • Ability to navigate and interpret financial statements of financial institutions.
  • Broad understanding of macroeconomic factors on banks and insurances.
  • Basic knowledge of derivatives and lending products.
  • Ability to establish credibility and trust with internal business partners and credit officers.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Expertise with MS Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Self-starting and capable of multitasking, with adaptability to change.
  •    Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Previous experience in a Credit Risk department.
  • Familiarity with the business models of financial institutions, such as banks and insurances.
