GCS Control Management (Specialized OR): The objective of the GCS Control Management Specialized Operational Risk (OR) team is to provide subject matter expertise on specific Operational Risk topics to ensure the BU is equipped with in-depth knowledge of risk-stripes to manage and mitigate these risks effectively; supports the BU with expert guidance for topical Operational Risk intelligence.

It will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end Risk Performance Rating (RPR) dashboard lifecycle, including data ingestion, transformation, visualization, quality assurance, and publishing


• Design and maintain Tableau dashboards, including leadership roll-ups, metric views, and executive summaries


• Manage monthly reporting cycles to ensure timely delivery with high data accuracy


• Ensure data integrity across the reporting pipeline, maintaining consistency and reliability across all layers


• Own QC and validation processes, proactively identifying and resolving data discrepancies


• Adhere to governance standards, including controlled deployments and publishing protocols


• Analyze RPR metrics across all risk pillars


• Identify emerging risk trends, key drivers, and potential areas of concern


• Translate analytical outputs into actionable insights and business-focused risk narratives


• Collaborate with SMEs, metric owners, and control management teams to validate inputs and ensure reporting consistency



Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: 


  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Automation and Dashboard storytelling and / or operational risk management (e.g., within Risk and/or Internal Audit function) and understanding critical operational risk management lifecycle activities


  • Project management, communication, and interpersonal skills


  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively


  • Technical Skills (Required): 


    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills 


    • Presentation and Storytelling (MS PowerPoint)


    • Tableau/Power BI


  • Technical Skills (Good to have): 


    • Python/SQL


    • SharePoint (Designer level skills)


  • Functional Skills:


    • Self-Starter and work with a sense of ownership


    • Strong business acumen with ability to interpret risk performance 


    • Ability to connect data insights to operational and compliance risk impacts 


    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 


    • High attention to detail and ownership mindset in QC-driven environments 


    • Effective stakeholder management and communication


Preferred Qualifications: 


  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Mgmt., or any other field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or certifications are advantageous


  • Experience in at least one of the following: 


    • Data governance, QC, and controlled reporting environments


    • Data transformation and automation (Advanced Excel/SQL/Python)


    • End-to-end reporting lifecycle ownership (requirements → build → validation → delivery)


    • Operational risk lifecycle (risk assessment, controls, testing, issue management)


    • Audit/regulatory reporting environments with strong governance discipline
