Job Title:Analyst - Accounts PayableSummary:This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end invoice processing, vendor accounting, reconciliation, and statutory compliance for the India region. The role requires close coordination with procurement, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely invoice posting, accurate accounting, and adherence to internal controls and tax regulations.Responsibilities Include:
  • Process vendor invoices accurately within agreed SLA in SAP in accordance with company policies and tax regulations.
  • Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve open items.
  • Ensure compliance with GST regulations and company financial controls.
  • Follow SOX compliance requirements and internal audit guidelines.
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all transactions.
  • Perform GR/IR reconciliation and clear aged items.
  • Support month-end closing activities including accruals and reporting.
  • Prepare AP reports and ageing analysis for management review.
  • Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and automation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects within finance operations.
  • Keeping oneself updated on industry best practices and standard techniques and implement appropriately.
  • To be able to focus on continuous improvement opportunities resulting in improved processing time.
  • To be able to demonstrate appetite to take on additional responsibilities as assigned by Team Lead from time to time.
  • To be able to train other team members and share best practices.
  • Research invoice exceptions, reconcile and resolve invoice blocks, identify, and clearly communicate actions required to be performed by business personnel.
Qualifications:

The following are required for the role


  • Min of 7- 8 years’ experience in Accounts Payable
  • With bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline
  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, Transformational spirit, creative personality
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
  • Service mindset, proactive & problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience using the following systems: SAP/Business Warehouse, General ERP systems.
  • MS Office Suite skills.
