Responsible for meeting production targets, improving process quality, ensuring schedule adherence, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in Tractor Assembly operations.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve production targets as per PPC planning..
Ensure 4M’s (Man, Machine, Method, Material) readiness for production..
Coordinate with supplier departments to resolve assembly issues..
Drive resolution of top defects impacting RPT/DPV.CCR.
Implement Zero Defect initiatives and multiskilling programs..
Facilitate process improvements through training sessions..
Collaborate on SOP creation, tooling, and material readiness for new products..
Identify and implement CRE (Cost Reduction & Efficiency) projects..
Reduce WIP and eliminate splitting due to manufacturing faults..
Maintain accident-free shop floor through proactive safety measures..
Monitor PPE adherence and close first aid incident cases with corrective actions.
Team Handling
Lead and motivate assembly shop teams..
Develop multiskilling of cell members at critical stations..
Coordinate cross-functional teams for issue resolution..Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Problem Analysis & Solving
Apply PDCA and QC story approaches to reduce manufacturing faults..
Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement countermeasures..
Strengthen daily work management for proactive problem prevention..
Drive structured problem-solving initiatives across assembly operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or equivalent..
2–5 years of experience in manufacturing/assembly operations (preferably automotive or heavy machinery)..
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, PDCA, and quality improvement tools..
Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
