Alveo / Asset Control Developer
Millennium is seeking a sharp, dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a developer in Reference Data Technology. As a Alveo/Asset Control Developer, you will be responsible for supporting an Operations team in a high-pressure environment where timeliness and quality of data are of utmost importance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in architecture and design, with development experience in Alveo/Asset Control. In addition to technical prowess, the candidate will need to be able to communicate effectively with users and translate their requirements into appropriate solutions.
This role will involve working on a variety of innovative and challenging projects, and the candidate should be a creative problem solver, attentive to detail, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Work with Data vendors, Data Mastering platform to provide high quality tooling and solutions to business problems
Identify commonly used components and create packages building reusable code
Work closely with QA and Support teams to ensure high quality software releases and supportability
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to reference data technology
Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
Document development phases and monitor systems.
Required Skills:
At least 3+ years’ experience developing in Asset Control/FE Code.
Experience working with AGILE/SCRUM methodology.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Java a big plus
Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, React a big plus
Exposure to AI technologies.
Python is a plus.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
