Job Summary

State Street’s Alpha Operations team is looking for an analyst in Alpha Data Operations team in India. Alpha Data Operations is the Global Data Management team supporting global clients within investment industry for daily support in the Production and CUAT environment.

As Alpha Data Operations Analyst you will

• Deliver Accurate and Timely Data
  Ensure all client data is delivered on schedule, with precision, and within agreed scope.

  
  

• Collaborate Across Functions
  Work closely with Implementation, Service Management, and IT teams to share best practices, resolve issues, and standardize global processes.

  
  

• End-to-End Data Validation & Enrichment
  Ensure accurate data validation and enrichment between multiple systems to maintain data integrity.

  
  

• Data Interface & Connectivity Expertise

  
  

​  Maintain a clear understanding of data interfaces and connectivity to resolve issues and ensure smooth BAU deliveries.

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role

• Industry knowledge, experience in Middle Office Operations, Reference Data Management, Transaction Management, Corporate Actions, Derivatives Support etc. will be an advantage

  
  

• Basic SQL knowledge, some hands-on experience with database/data warehouse will be an advantage

  
  

• Attention to details, problem solving, and decision making

  
  

• “Can do” attitude

  
  

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry.

  
  

• University degree in Data Management, Finance, Business or equivalent

  
  

• Knowledge of Bloomberg and/or other market data vendors (good to have)

  
  

• Knowledge of financial instruments from static data perspective (good to have)

  
  

• Good numerical and analytical abilities

  
  

• Good communication and English language skills (both written and verbal)
