Role Overview:


Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a skilled AEP Expert to serve as an individual contributor in architecting and implementing enterprise data foundations. This role involves leading technical proofs of concept, unifying customer profiles, and aligning business objectives with technical solutions using Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), and Web/Mobile SDK. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving data-driven marketing strategies and fostering innovative customer engagement solutions, contributing directly to the organization’s growth and digital transformation initiatives.


Software Requirements
Required Software Skills:  


  • Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) including XDM schemas, Identity Management, Real-time Customer Profile (RT-CDP) – Advanced proficiency  
  • Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) – Practical knowledge  
  • Web/Mobile SDK (Alloy.js) – Practical experience  
  • APIs and Query Service – Expert level

Preferred Software Skills:  


  • AEP Tooling and Sandbox Management tools for object migration and version control  
  • CI/CD workflows within Adobe ecosystem

Overall Responsibilities  


  • Lead the implementation of core AEP components, including schemas, identity management, and real-time customer profiles to establish scalable data foundations.  
  • Design and develop batch and streaming data ingestion pipelines, ensuring robust data governance and compliance frameworks (DULE).  
  • Independently architect and demonstrate high-value AEP use cases through proofs of concept that showcase tangible business benefits.  
  • Configure and manage Web/Mobile SDKs for seamless data collection and integrate AJO for journey orchestration to enhance customer experience.  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and act as the primary technical advisor, translating complex business requirements into scalable and effective technical blueprints.  
  • Drive the migration and management of objects between AEP sandboxes, supporting deployment and version control processes.

Technical Skills (By Category)  


  • Programming Languages: JavaScript (Alloy.js) required; familiarity with additional languages is preferred  
  • Databases/Data Management: Experience with data ingestion, Data Management Platforms, and schema design  
  • Cloud Technologies: Knowledge of cloud-based data storage and processing (preferred but not mandatory)  
  • Frameworks and Libraries: Adobe SDKs, APIs, and related development tools  
  • Development Tools and Methodologies: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and version control within Adobe ecosystem  
  • Security Protocols: Understanding of data privacy and governance standards relevant to enterprise data platforms

Experience Requirements  


  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in MarTech or related fields  
  • At least 2+ years of hands-on experience specifically with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)  
  • Proven track record in implementing RT-CDP, segmentation, query services, and APIs within enterprise environments  
  • Experience in migrating objects between sandbox environments and managing deployment workflows is highly desirable

Day-to-Day Activities  


  • Developing and implementing AEP schemas, profiles, and identity management components  
  • Building and testing proofs of concept for new use cases and platform enhancements  
  • Configuring SDKs for Web and Mobile data collection processes  
  • Collaborating with data teams, marketing, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic goals  
  • Managing sandbox environments and utilizing tooling for object migrations and updates  
  • Participating in agile meetings, code reviews, and documentation efforts to ensure quality and compliance

Qualifications  


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent field; relevant certifications are a plus  
  • Certifications related to Adobe Experience Cloud or AEP are preferred  
  • Ongoing professional development to stay current with Adobe platform updates and industry best practices
