Job responsibilities


  • Provide expert accessibility guidance within an agile environment by collaborating throughout the entire product lifecycle. Ensure accessibility requirements are integrated into design, content, development, testing, release, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Apply accessibility standards and best practices to a wide range of the firm’s digital properties and customer-facing channels. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Support the identification, triage, and prioritisation of accessibility defects. Analyse and determine the root cause of customer-reported accessibility issues or concerns.
  • Contribute to the management and continuous improvement of firm accessibility standards by conducting research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging knowledge of current and emerging accessibility trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including product owners, designers, engineers, and business leaders. Foster support for digital accessibility initiatives and help sustain the maturity and effectiveness of the accessibility program.
  • Stay informed about emerging accessibility standards, technologies, and tools. Proactively analyze their impact on current firm standards and recommend updates or enhancements as needed.
  • Assist in developing and delivering accessibility training and awareness programs for teams. Promote a culture of inclusion and digital accessibility across the organisation.
  • Participate in accessibility reviews, audits, and user testing, including the use of assistive technologies, to validate and improve the accessibility of digital products and services.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills


  • Ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent knowledge of accessibility standards and legislation, including WCAG 2.2, PDF/UA, EN 301 549, the European Accessibility Act (EEA)
  • Expertise in assistive technologies across multiple platforms and operating systems, including:
    • Web (Windows and macOS)
    • Mobile (Android and iOS)
    • Tablet (Android and iOS)
  • Strong technical knowledge and practical experience applying accessibility guidelines using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA, as well as native and React Native mobile development
  • Fluency in English

  • IAAP-related certification (such as CPACC, WAS, or ADS)
