Job description

Work Mode: 100% Onsite
Team: WWIT (World Wide IT)
The Role:
Are you a dedicated problem solver who enjoys helping others navigate technology? Do you take pride in ensuring that IT tools empower people rather than slow them down?
As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be the primary point of contact for IT at our Budapest office. You’ll join our WWIT team, providing high-quality technical support both to our local staff and remotely to our colleagues across the EMEA region. Whether you’re troubleshooting a laptop in person or resolving a software issue via a remote session, your goal is to provide seamless, efficient solutions.
The Details:
  • This is a core support role focused on Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical assistance. You will balance "boots on the ground" office support with remote regional service.
  • Onsite Support: Maintain the health of the Budapest office IT environment—from setting up workstations and meeting rooms to troubleshooting local hardware (laptops, printers, peripherals).
  • Remote Support (EMEA): Resolve incoming incidents and service requests for our staff across Europe and the Middle East using modern remote-access tools.
  • User Onboarding: Manage the technical onboarding for new hires, ensuring they have the hardware and access they need from Day 1.
  • Collaboration: Partner with global IT colleagues to identify recurring issues and improve our standard operating procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate records of our local hardware and software assets.
Your Skill Set:
  • Experience: 1–3 years in a technical support role (Help Desk, Service Desk, or Desktop Support).
  • Technical Foundation: Solid experience supporting Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
  • Cloud & Collaboration: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive) and iOS mobile device support.
  • Networking Basics: Ability to troubleshoot common connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic office networking.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills. You can explain technical fixes in a way that is easy for everyone to understand.
  • Mindset: A proactive, patient, and solutions-oriented approach. You stay calm under pressure and enjoy interacting with people daily.
You Get:
  • Global Exposure: A unique chance to work for a global company while supporting a diverse range of colleagues across EMEA.
  • Stable Environment: A full-time, onsite role in a modern Budapest office with a fun, multicultural team.
  • Growth: The opportunity to learn from senior global experts and gain exposure to enterprise-level IT management tools.
Local Benefits: Competitive salary, SZÉP card/Cafeteria, and a supportive work culture.
