What you’ll do

The CRM Engineering Manager is the owner of skills development, who builds expertise in the domain and develops domain members. Enthusiastic about transferring knowledge to others, provide coaching and oversee personal development. In addition to leading a chapter community, the Engineering Manager will also actively participate on New Demands delivering part of the scope, thus will work closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Domain Architects and QAs to understand requirements and prototype, architect, design and implement solutions accordingly upon CRM systems. 


More specifically you will: 


  • Guide a community of Team Leaders and CRM experts, both designers and developers. 
  • Work with the Head of SW development to provide workforce plans for recruitment and development. 
  • Manage team’s capacity and allocation on projects / Initiatives. 
  • Organize interactions between the members of the chapter to nurture best practice and encourage peer review, knowledge & tool sharing. 
  • Act as a supporting leader and mentor aiming at growing team’s expertise, knowledge and independence. 
  • Provide guidance and harmonization of team’s best-practices / principles. 
  • Play a pivotal role in inspiring and motivating everyone in CRM domain to be the best they can be. 
  • Ensure technical integrity and quality control consistency throughout the development life cycle. 
  • Design insourcing initiatives to increase team’s missing knowledge and decrease dependency with external vendors.
  • Coordinate AI initiatives to achieve efficiency and faster time to market. 
  • Contribute in the research, analysis, design development and testing of solutions that best suit business and technology strategy. 


Who you are
  • Experience in Coaching/ Mentoring others for at least 2-3 years.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in design and development on Siebel CRM
  • Good understanding of Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), Microservices, and database technologies.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Telecom industry. 
  • Recognised as expert in CRM domain with a proven track record.
  • Have a passion for personal and functional development, supporting members to be the best they can be.
  • Relentless drive for continuous improvement in processes, others and yourself.
  • Advanced ability to analyse and interpret complex problems or processes, identify and understand requirements and produce out-of-the-box ideas and innovative solutions.
  • Strong relationship building, persuasion, and collaboration skills, acting as enabler for coordination of activities between technical teams and building of cross-functional relationships quickly and confidently.
  • Able to foster learning around agile ways of working and the overall agile mind-set.
  • Be able to work in a fast-moving team which values communication & team spirit
