Job description
- Manage the development, performance and maintenance of the manufacturing production to produce smooth and efficient production and delivery solution, maximizing performance & profitability against pre-agreed targets.
- Assess projects and availability of required resources for efficient implementation
- Estimate, negotiate, & agree on budgets and timescales with suppliers and the team
- Ensures production lines are delivering the pre-agreed upon quantity/target that meets demands
- Initiate different strategies to reduce cost/expenses & increase efficiency/productivity
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are met and the team is abiding by all safety measures
- Determine quality control standards and ensure it’s strictly implemented by the team
- Organize shifts/time schedules for the team and re-arranging tasks as required
- Manage and overview the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
- Arrange training sessions for the team when needed and ensure thorough follow-up after the training course
- Design and execute daily, weekly, monthly and annual production schedules
- Maintain responsibility for performing all duties in compliance with country laws & regulations, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations and insert as applicable e.g. Best Practice Guidelines, ISO certification
- Maintain and improve mechanisms for business, including surveying and measuring the manufacturing production, process, outcomes and profitability and disseminate feedback to the appropriate internal entities
- Provide support to all other departments involved in the manufacturing and supply process (R&D, Quality control, logistics, etc.)
- Delegate authority and responsibility to team and organization as a whole with supervision, accountability and review

Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering – MBA/Master degree is a plus
8 - 10 years of experience in a similar role (Dairy experience is mandatory)
Fluent in English
Proficiency with Microsoft office
Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and mentor staff
