Job description

Electrical & Instrument Field Engineer
 
  • Liaise with the field engineers / supervisors / subcontractors on site to ensure all technical requirements are according to specifications and resolve any challenges and single point of contract with engineering to resolve the challenges.
  • Review and approve work orders. Make sure that all information needed to complete the described work is added in the work order.
  • Contribute to constant upgrading of product documentation.
  • Direct and assist technically Electrical superintendents and crafts.
  • Oversee and coordinate performance and routine activities of electrical / instrument personnel in field
  • Coordinate and check subcontractors in electrical execution.
  • Follow up all As-built documentation and update all drawing documentation red-line mark up and as-building existing documentation and drawings together with contractor.
  • Solve all technical challenges within instrument and electrical and support engineering with updates. Handle and follow up on all technical issues within the instrumentation and electrical discipline.
  • Raise technical questions in PIMS Queries for all technical issues to the technical department. Follow up on queries and have work orders created by engineering for possible rectification.
  • Punch coordination

Qualifications:
 
  • A relevant Bachelor or Master Degree in the Instrumentation or Electronic
  • Knowledge and Experience of Hazardous area and ATEX requirements are required.
  • Min. 5 years of experience from completion/commissioning/system testing.
  • Technical experienced with ATEX requirements.
  • EX basics
  • EXi basics
  • EX Inspection and maintenance
  • Broad experience from completion and use of completion systems.
  • Be an HSSE ambassador. Ensures that HSSE procedures are adhered to, and proactively strive for good HSSE and quality performance throughout the work.
  • Be a team player who contributes to good co-operation and maintains a good working environment
