About the role
As our French HR Manager, you will be a key player in our global People team, collaborating with colleagues in Aix-en-Provence, Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Toronto, and across the US. Your mission is to create an exceptional employee experience while ensuring our French operations are compliant, efficient, and aligned with our global mission. You are pragmatic and can understand the nuances of a business within an international context.
What you’ll do
Employee lifecycle: Oversee all end-to-end activities for the French office, from onboarding to offboarding.
Advisory: Provide expert guidance to managers and employees on performance and conduct management and HR policy.
Payroll: Oversee payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, compliance with all relevant local labour laws, tax regulations, and internal governance standards.
Labour relations: Partner with the Legal department to manage Works Council (CSE) relations.
Team leadership: Manage and mentor the local French HR Generalist.
Process optimisation: Continuously monitor, review, and implement HR policy improvements to meet local compliance requirements.
Culture: Foster an inclusive workplace culture that aligns with our core company values.
Who you are
Educational background: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a comparable professional qualification.
Professional experience: At least 5-8 years of experience as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner, ideally within a high-growth tech environment.
French Labour Law Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of the French Labour Code (Code du Travail), experience managing French Works Councils (CSE) and maintaining labour relations.
Linguistic proficiency: Fluency in both English and French, possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills to bridge the gap between local HR operations and global leadership.
Global fluency: Highly comfortable working within a fast-paced, distributed global organisation.
Conflict resolution: Proven ability to handle difficult conversations and maintain professional neutrality in conflict situations.
Strategic judgment: Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to provide sound, evidence-based reasoning for HR recommendations.
Interpersonal impact: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships at all levels of the organisation.
Operational excellence: Detail-oriented, highly organised, and resourceful, with a "tech-forward" mindset and comfort using modern HR software platforms.

Compensation & Benefits
Working organisation: Forfait Jours (214 days)
Paid time off: 25 days of annual leave per year.
