About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Management Officer to support our translation and localization operations. This role will coordinate projects across internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost control for multilingual content and localization initiatives. The successful candidate will be organized, communicative, and familiar with translation workflows, CAT tools, and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Delivery
Manage end-to-end translation and localization projects from intake to delivery, tracking schedules, milestones and deliverables
Vendor & Supplier Management
Onboard, evaluate and coordinate freelance linguists and translation agencies
Negotiate rates, manage purchase orders and monitor vendor performance against SLAs
Quality Assurance
Implement QA checks and post-editing guidelines to ensure linguistic and functional quality
Co-ordinate linguistic reviews, in-country testing and bug tracking with product and QA teams
Qualifications & Requirements:
2–3 years of experience as a Localization Project Manager or in a similar role
University graduate (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
For male candidates: completion of military service or official exemption (if applicable)
Proven experience in the translation and localization industry
Strong understanding of:
Localization workflows
MTPE processes
QA/QC practices
CAT tools and TMS platforms
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working full-time in the US time zone
Based in Egypt with a reliable internet connection and remote-work setup Proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
