Position Summary:
The SAP Store Operations Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP solutions that enable efficient retail store operations. The role focuses on store inventory management, replenishment processes, and digital store enablement using SAP Fiori applications within SAP S/4HANA Retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Process Analysis
Collaborate with retail stakeholders (store operations, supply chain, merchandising) to gather and analyze requirements
Map business processes to SAP S/4HANA Retail capabilities
Identify process gaps and recommend optimized SAP solutions
2. SAP Solution Design & Configuration
Configure SAP Retail / S/4HANA modules related to store operations
Set up and manage:
Store inventory management
Stock movements and adjustments
Store replenishment processes
Pricing and promotion execution (from a store operations perspective)
Ensure solutions align with business and operational standards
3. SAP Fiori & Store Applications
Configure and support SAP Fiori apps for store operations, including:
Inventory lookup and stock overview
Stock transfers and goods movement apps
Store replenishment and task management apps
Ensure usability and adoption of Fiori apps at store level
Work with UX/UI teams to enhance user experience where needed
4. Implementation & Deployment
Participate in full project lifecycle:
Fit-gap workshops
System configuration
Testing (unit, integration, UAT)
Go-live and hypercare support
Support rollout of SAP solutions across multiple store locations
5. Testing & Support
Develop and execute functional test scenarios
Troubleshoot issues related to:
Inventory discrepancies
Replenishment failures
Store operational workflows
Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement
6. Data & Reporting
Ensure accuracy and consistency of inventory and store operational data
Support reporting and analytics using SAP tools (Embedded Analytics, CDS views, SAP BW if applicable)
Monitor store KPIs such as stock levels, availability, and shrinkage
