About the role

What this role is about.



The Sr. Professional Services Expertwill be working in the Emerging Markets and Orange Business (EMOB) Expert Managing Consultants team whose core function is to support Orange Business security sales activities in the International environment. The role will focus around the following:



  • Pre Sales support for Professional Services offerings for the OB Channel
  • Leading RFI/RFP responses for security solutions across OB channels (Europe, MEA, Americas, APAC regions)
  • Resolving complex security solution challenges
  • Deivering security consulting services as part of the EMOB Professional Services team.

TheSr. Professional Services Expertneeds a technical background with very strong business and commercial affinities and the focus is on promoting and positioningOrange Cyberdefense solutions and other technologies and/or services to potential customers and existing customers via the OB Channel. The Consultant is a corner stone in developing and answering technical solution designs and descriptions for RFI’s & RFP’s, drafting cost sheets and assists in closing deals with Account Managers.




AstheSr. Professional Services Expertyoumustensurethatyouunderstandandcantransferthe technical aspects of cyber security, but also the required business knowledge and strong soft skills like documentation skills, critical thinking, communication and time management.




Key responsibilities are as follows.



  • Business development within the Security domain for the Orange Business channel
  • Understand OCD service offerings and stay abreast of changes and enhancements
  • Maintain high degree of knowledge for security market trends and changing competitive landscape
  • Attend bid and customer meetings
  • Respond to tender, RFQ, RFP and RFI requirements
  • Develop high-level designs and Bill of Quantities (BOQ/BOM) for proposed security architectures
  • Write proposals and scope of work, structure and optimise offers
  • Prepare technical presentations, write-ups, and proof of concepts (POCs) for clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet timelines and customer requirements
  • Assist Account Managers in closing deals
  • Sales evangelisation and education,help “upskill” sales teams on capabilities associated with professional services
  • Attend training sessions, both in-house, vendor specific and external
  • Fosterthe relationshipswithourselectedpartners.
  • Proactivelycontributetothegrowthofourglobalorganization.
  • Work with various entities from Orange Group to have efficient use of resources on projects for our customers
  • Delivery on some key customer projects where expert guidance is required

About you

Experience / Knowledge Required



  • Demonstrable experienceas a security consultant and presales
  • Extensive experience of the security industry
  • Experience with Managed Security Services portfolios
  • Experience with security consulting
  • Customer facing experience with strong presentation skills
  • Language Skills- fluency in English is mandatory
  • Experience in bid management, sales and product management including writing proposals and scopes, responding to tenders/RFQ/RFP/RFI
  • Understanding of current security technologies
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
  • Results-oriented with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and completing assigned duties
  • Cross cultural awareness and comfortable in a matrix management environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Confidence, tenacity, creativity and flexibility in thinking
  • Ability to engage at different levels within multinational organisations and customers
  • Drive collaboration from strategy through to implementation

  • Minimum 10 years of experience including at least 5 years of experience in a comparable function, with strong international experience
