Job description

Business Ana

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Business Analyst will serve as the bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring that the IRMS Suite is configured to meet client-specific requirements. You will lead discovery sessions, document business needs, and translate them into system configurations, supporting smooth implementations and client adoption.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with clients to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
  • Configure the IRMS Suite to support medical information workflows and compliance standards.
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with product and implementation teams.
  • Support validation, testing, and deployment activities to ensure successful rollouts.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on best practices in medical information management.
  • Participate in client workshops and industry-facing engagements as needed.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to streamline requirements gathering, documentation, and system configuration tasks.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate AI and automation into client workflows and internal processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in SaaS, enterprise software, or life sciences technology.
  • An AI-first and curious mindset — actively looking for ways to improve business and internal workflows with AI and automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to elicit and translate business requirements into effective system configurations.
  • Hands-on experience configuring enterprise systems or SaaS applications.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills, including the ability to lead discovery sessions.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, documentation tools, and AI-assisted productivity platforms (e.g., Claude, Copilot, or similar).
  • Comfort working with AI tools to augment analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and accelerate decision-making.
  • Analytical mindset, detail orientation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
  • Background in pharma/biotech solutions preferred (Medical Affairs, Medical Information, or related systems strongly preferred).
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance workflows (medical inquiries, adverse event reporting, etc.) preferred but not required.
