Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy Execution
- Execute the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business goals and priorities.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable engineering roadmaps and delivery plans.
- Partner with senior leadership to support business growth through scalable technology solutions.
Engineering Delivery & Operations
- Lead and manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle (planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance).
- Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of products and platforms.
- Collaborate on defining and own the monitoring of tech department OKRs, KPIs, OLAs, and delivery standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes across all functions (Architecture, Development, QA, DevOps, Scrum/Delivery, Data Analytics & BI).
Technical Excellence
- Establish and maintain architectural integrity and design best practices, ensuring system scalability, application/platform/infrastructure efficiency, and compliance with security regulations and data protection standards.
- Establish and maintain best practices and high standards for code quality, technical debt management, documentation, and DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
Innovation & Technology Advancement
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, tools, and platforms.
- Lead organizational and digital transformation efforts within the tech department, focusing on modernization and technical capabilities.
- Establish and maintain a product-first, API-first, and AI-first approach to software development.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineering managers and teams.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on growth, agility, and excellence.
- Promote innovation, agility, and continuous learning within the team.
- Support talent development, succession planning, and retention strategies.
RequirementsJob Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- 20+ years of experience in software engineering / technology roles.
- Proven experience leading large engineering teams.
- Strong experience in architecture, DevOps, and system design.
- Experience in scaling systems and managing high-availability platforms.
- Strong expertise in FinTech is a must.
- Proven track record in leading digital, organizational, and AI transformation initiatives.
