The Site Architect provides architectural and technical expertise to support nuclear and large industrial facilities, working closely with the Customer and multidisciplinary engineering teams. The role focuses on reviewing designs, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards, and promoting international best practices, while supporting knowledge transfer and mentoring of the Customer’s staff at site.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review architectural designs for NPP buildings and coordinate interfaces with multidisciplinary engineering teams (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and I&C).
  • Apply applicable Russian design Codes and standards and other Codes and Standards as required  and ensure compliance throughout design development and documentation.
  • Provide technical input on building envelope systems (e.g., ventilated façades, flat roofs, waterproofing) and decontaminable architectural finishes, as required for nuclear facilities.
  • Advise on selection and detailing of interior and exterior finishing materials to ensure constructability, durability, maintainability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Promote alignment with recognized international architectural practices and industry standards.
  • Review and evaluate technical documentation (detailed design and operating documentation) for plant buildings to confirm completeness, accuracy, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, including fire-safety rules.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment while meeting strict deadlines.

Experience and Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (master’s degree preferred) or equivalent.


  • High-level knowledge of Russian Codes and Standards. 


  • Experience on nuclear power plant projects is required. 


  • High-level knowledge and experience with the use of interior and exterior finishing materials and related details in NPPs and industrial buildings.


  • Minimum 8 years’ experience as a designer in architectural design for industrial projects.

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills are essential; Russian language capability is an advantage.
