Role Objectives
As coffee supervisor, responsibilities include supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring adherence to SOPs, and maintaining exceptional customer service levels. They assist in barista training, uphold NPS scores, and take immediate action on feedback to improve. Additionally, they contribute to achieving operational and financial KPIs, maintain store cleanliness and brand standards, act as a brand ambassador, and ensure coffee quality standards are consistently met.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support Store Manager in managing the day-to-day operations and ensure adherence and commitment to SOPs
Ensure exceptional operational excellence in customer service level
Assist in training and developing the baristas in coffee knowledge, customer handling and inventory controls
Uphold the BU standard NPS scores and 3rd party platform reviews immediately actioning on feedback to improve
Support in achieving overall store operational and financial KPIs
Maintain operational excellence in the way of store environment, cleanliness and brand expectations, achieving BU standard scores
Be a brand ambassador - have a thorough understanding of what makes our products unique and differentiated with the ability to communicate it to customers and teammates
Maintain coffee quality standards across your store and ensure recipes are executed accurately and consistently by your team
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
Minimum of 2 years of prior experience as a Store Supervisor, ideally within the coffee industry.
Practical experience in operating and maintaining brewing equipment.
Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and compliance with hygiene regulations.
Flexibility to work across different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Proficiency in basic math for handling transactions and inventory.
Ability to understand and cater to customers’ preferences and deliver exceptional service.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and engage with customers.
