  • Operate, monitor, and maintain hotel engineering systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and water treatment systems.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms and hotel departments.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as per the maintenance schedule.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing faults during the shift.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations at all times.
  • Record all maintenance activities, breakdowns, and corrective actions in the logbook/system.
  • Coordinate with other engineering team members to ensure smooth shift handover.
  • Supervise technicians and contractors on duty when required.
  • Report major issues, safety hazards, or equipment failures to the Chief Engineer immediately.
  • Support energy-saving initiatives and proper use of hotel resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel engineering or facility maintenance (hotel experience preferred).
  • Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and general maintenance.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and emergency procedures.
