Overview
Senior-level systems administrator responsible for the stability, security, and continuous operation of enterprise systems across on-prem and cloud environments. Hands-on role with on-call responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform system maintenance, updates, patching, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Support system migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Administer Windows Server environments: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, Group Policy.
• Manage identity and access across Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Operate virtualization platforms and enterprise storage systems.
• Manage backup and recovery operations, including restore testing.
• Run vulnerability remediation and patch management cycles.
• Administer endpoint management and security platforms.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability; resolve incidents and prevent recurrence.
• Maintain asset inventory for servers, devices, licenses, and warranties.
• Provide escalation-level support to internal teams.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and operational records.
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintenance windows.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Experience with VMware or equivalent virtualization platforms.
• Experience with enterprise backup and storage platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online, including migrations.
• Basic scripting or automation using PowerShell and/or Bash.
• Experience with Azure or other major cloud platforms.
• Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Relevant technical certifications are an advantage.
Working Conditions:
• Full-time position.
• On-call availability for critical system incidents.
