The German University in Cairo (GUC) is seeking talented and motivated .NET Framework (ASP.NET) Software Developers (Senior levels) to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality web applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain web solutions using the ASP.NET technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, resolve issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement and test SQL Server databases and ensure proper integration with backend applications.
• Ensure all system functionalities work effectively, including UI layout and usability improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, integration, and testing with other team members.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for all development and design activities.
• Adhere to departmental standards, development guidelines, and process documentation.
• Gain a deep understanding of the business context to ensure software aligns with operational needs.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years Building ASP.NET Web Application
• Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Web Forms.
• Experience with .NET Framework
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, schema design).
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience in UI/UX design and website layout.
• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git or Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
