Job Description As a Software Business Analyst, you must be familiar with the banking processes in general, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing solutions through the development and implementation of software applications.
You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and other team members to ensure that project goals are met on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilties Serve as a contact among stakeholders to facilitate requirements gathering and analysis, along with the user acceptance process for systems.
Create clear and precise business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications documents.
Guide system design, development, and documentation, ensuring alignment with business needs.
Employ prototyping tools and methods to aid in the development of user interfaces and applications.
Foster proactive communication between business and development teams to resolve conflicts and advance project objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess strong collaboration, teaming, and consensus-building skills, and be adept at working across various disciplines and organizations.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science , or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking sector.
Any certificate related to the business analysis field.
Proven expertise in banking domain processes and systems.
Strong skills in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements using interviews, workshops, and other techniques.
Experience in feasibility studies, business process modeling, and gap analysis for process improvement and automation.
Ability to define user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria for software development.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in documentation tools and business analysis frameworks (mention specific tools if applicable).
